Week of 2/14

This week I worked on a couple of different things. Starting the week off, i ordered the materials i needed off of ebay and im still waiting for them to arrive. After that I worked more on my cad file for the base of my lamp because it was really bland and simple and I added more features and some rounding of edges so its not just a plain box. I put some engraved text on the top part, and have changed the part model to be made with the 3d printer instead of the laser cutter. this specific part would not be able to made on the lasercutter. I 3d printed my part and the holes i used to put my standoffs are a little too small so i can either make a new one or use different smaller standoffs. The rest of the lasercut parts will be done either today or when we get back. I also worked more on the typewriter circuit board, soldering the esp32 and some of the logic gates. Lastly I took apart a "pneumatic device" for mr christy which was a little complicated at first. Ending off the week I completely finished my cad model.
