Week 13 12/4-12/8

This week I focused mainly on being able to read lines to see if names have already been printed. This was the easy part of the script, as it only took a few simple code lines. Next I tested the script as is without reading, and it would put the name down into the csv file if it was detected, yet it would repeat if detected again. Next I am going to make an if function to say that if a line is read and a name is detected, then to not do anything. I tried a few iterations of this but I did not get it to work without problems. This week I also worked with milo to make some christmas decorations. He designed and lasercut a santa and I helped paint. I also designed a present that I will cut from cardboard and paint to add to the decorations. I also made and lasercut an ornament for my christmas tree, which has a laser engraved photo of my dog. I had to cut a second one as the bitmap I engraved the first time came out very poorly.
